Representative of Uzbekistan participated in an international training course organised by the MASHAV

With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel, on 1-12 September 2024 in Haifa, Israel, representative of Uzbekistan participated in the international training course ‘Support System for Startups at Early Development Stages’ organised by MASHAV Centre.

MASHAV (Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation) is one of Israel’s leading organizations for international cooperation. The agency's primary goal is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and technology in fields such as agriculture, education, healthcare, and entrepreneurship support.

Over the past few years, cooperation between MASHAV and Uzbekistan has been actively developing. Uzbekistan and Israel collaborate through various educational and technical programs, where Uzbek specialists are trained in advanced Israeli methodologies. Programs organized by MASHAV help Uzbek specialists integrate innovative approaches into various sectors of the economy, particularly in supporting startups and technological innovations.

The course aimed to develop competencies in creating and supporting startups, providing participants with the opportunity to study Israel’s innovation model, which is one of the most successful in the world. During the program, participants discussed key mechanisms for supporting startups, such as accelerators, incubators, venture funds, and government initiatives.
