“62nd- Namangan International Flower Festival” is approaching

This year, in 2023, the greatest flower festival will be held from the 21^th of May till the 4^th of June in Namangan region of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Each year, Namangan Flowers Festival is celebrated by people internationally.

To hold the festival in high spirits, Namangan Main Department of the Ministry of Culture and tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan is working closely with such supportive organizations, industries.  Our team want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who is contributing to organize the Uzbekistan’s most famous and traditional flower festival. There is such an appetite for gardens and nature at the moment and we will all want to celebrate this at “Namangan flower festival”. The Flower Parade will take place on the central streets of Namangan City. This year more than 300 local transports such as cars, combines, fire trucks, tractors, tracks and ambulances decorated with flowers and our national symbol flag, will move through Namangan city to the Z.M. Bobur recreation park. 

It was noted that the Flower Festival is important not only in meeting the aesthetic needs of the population but also in covering the city with goodness.  This holiday is distinguished by its ethnoecological aspects, as the other spring ceremonies.

To the delight of guests and local residents, over a hundred varieties of various flowers are planted in the city park, and theatrical performances and open-air concerts are arranged at the park named Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur. The largest festivities take place in the park, where at the same time an exhibition of landscape compositions and sculptures from natural flowers opens. But the brightest event on the opening day of the festival is the parade of cars and flower sculptures prepared by local teams of florists. This is a truly colorful event that annually attracts both local and foreign tourists.

Last year on the first day of the opening of the flower festival, 50,373 tourists visited, which is 25% more than the previous year, including 4,452 foreign tourists from countries such as India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Korea, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Pakistan, France, Germany and China. More foreign and domestic tourists are expected this year. Everyone can participate in the International Flower Festival and enjoy the beauty of different kinds of flowers.

Foreign tourists will be accompanied by qualified and experienced volunteers, guides and translators. Experienced specialists will provide tourists with free movement around the city during the days of the festival, tell about all the features of the exhibition, and also provide tourists with high-quality tourist services.

Visit this truly beautiful holiday at a time when its streets are full of scents of bright flowers. This is a famous event that brings together a huge number of beauty connoisseurs and florists from different parts of the Republic! More than 30 hotels, 12 hostels and over 500 family guest houses, 100 local and international restaurants where delicious meals are serviced, are ready to welcome tourists.
