Uzbekistan establishes Association of volunteers

Uzbekistan has registered a new organization - The Association of volunteers, Justice Ministry said.

The organization focuses on developing civic initiatives aimed at organizing volunteerism, supporting tolerance and solidarity, and protecting the rights and interests of volunteers.

Today large professional volunteer organizations exist in more than 80 countries of the world, and the volunteer sector is an important component of the socio-economic development of society.
