
At the same time, the share of CIS countries in the total foreign trade turnover in January-May 2022 decreased by 2.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2021, and the share of other foreign countries increased by 2.7% respectively and amounted to 66.4%.
The foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the CIS countries in January-May 2022 increased by 27.3% and amounted to $6.9 billion, of which: exports increased by 32.4% to $2.4 billion, and imports – by 24.7% to $4.5 billion.
The largest volumes of foreign trade turnover with CIS countries were recorded with Russia (47.0%), Kazakhstan (25.4%) and the Kyrgyz Republic (6.3%).
