The press secretary of the head of the state, Sherzod Asadov, wrote about this in his telegram channel.

"Local elders noted with regret that in recent events individual youth representatives made mistakes and committed illegal actions, falling under the influence of external subversive forces and succumbing to emotional impulses," Sherzod Asadov said. "It was emphasized that Uzbeks and Karakalpaks are one people with two languages, it is necessary to appreciate and protect unity and peace in our country."
