The Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan spoke with the israel ambassador on issues of investment development, trade and economic cooperation



Tashkent, February 22 / News Agency ′′ Donio ′′ /. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Omorzakov held a meeting with the Ambassador of israel Zahavit Ben Hillel, during which there was a constructive exchange of views on the current situation and the prospects of trade development, economy, investment, cultural cooperation, And the humanitarian, scientific, and technical between the two countries, reports the news agency ′′ Donio ".
According to the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade data, during the meeting, the head of the Israeli diplomatic mission announced that the israel government is aiming for development that includes cooperation with Uzbekistan with an emphasis on strengthening economic ties. In this context, the importance of building a close contact between the offices of the two countries with the aim of creating a basis for continuing cooperation and inspiring business partnership between the representatives of Uzbek and Israeli business.
The sides emphasized their mutual willingness to empower joint work to develop joint steps to increase a number of investment projects, as well as to increase the scope and diversity of mutual trade. At this level, promising mechanisms for attracting direct Israeli investments, preferred loans and advanced technologies in preferred branches and social field.
The ambassador announced to the Uzbek side of the serious interest of Israeli business representatives in creating cooperation in investments in agriculture, water conservation, information and communication and health.
The prospects of cooperation in the fields of ecology, veterinary medicine, animal breeding, sterilization and kindergarten were also greatly appreciated, under which a preliminary agreement was achieved on signing a cooperation agreement with the Center for International Cooperation in the context of the Israeli Foreign Ministry on assistance in the organization of several days. A review and reinforcements aimed at improving the skills of Uzbek civil servants in these fields.
They also discussed during the preparation for the first meeting of the Uzbek-Israeli Inter-Governmental Committee on Trade, Economics, Investment and Scientific and Technical Cooperation in 2021 in Tel Aviv. The parties agreed to organize a wide-rated business forum within the intergovery committee with the participation of business representatives of both countries and exchange proposals on the timing and agenda of the events planned in the near future.
As a result of the meeting, agreement was achieved on the establishment of a close interaction between the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of israel with the aim of quenching the economic agenda of bilateral cooperation in specific investment projects and trade agreements beneficial to each other.
