Uzbekistan and Israel discuss opportunities to develop cooperation in the field of parametics

The Israeli side, represented by the Association of Chemistry Permatics and Environmental Quality Industries of the Israel Industrial Federation, recognized the development of the pharmaceutical industry in Uzbekistan, especially the conditions for the implementation of investment projects in free trade zones, steps taken in the areas of standardization, certification, registration of parametical and medical products, as well as attracting advanced technologies To advance the scientific base of the industry.
Special attention has been dedicated to creating joint ventures with Israeli pharmaceutical companies to produce high-added value products wanted in the local and foreign market.
The head of the pharmaceutical industry of the Israeli Industrial Association, Haim Horowitz, held a presentation on the biomedical industry in the country, including the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotech, IT technologies in the field of health and medical equipment.
During the negotiations, agreement was achieved on the formation of a joint working group among the representatives of the pharmaceutical industry to develop targeted areas of cooperation and to determine direct interaction on issues of mutual interest.
The Israel Industrial Association has been uniting organizations and industrialists groups for 100 years. In the union of members of over 1,500 organizations and industrial factories in the electronics, textiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, metallurgy, electricity, construction, as well as areas related to environmental quality and software.
In Israel, over 30 pharmaceutical companies and over 40 factories are operating. In 2019, the total revenue of pharmaceutical companies stood at $ 4.8 billion, exporting products-3.22 billion, which is more than 19 % of total national industrial exports.
