Uzbekistan and Israel will establish collaborations in the field of education
Director of the Agency for the Development of Presidential Schools, Special Education Schools and specialists in studying gifted children under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Hilula Omarova, met with the ambassador of israel in Uzbekistan Zahavit Ben Hillel.
The meeting took place in the presidential school building in Tashkent. Before the meeting, the israel ambassador introduced the conditions in this educational institution for students and teachers.
In addition, Zahavit Ben Hillel is aware of the activities of the Agency for the Development of Presidential Schools, Special Education Schools and specialists in studying gifted children and programs for the development of special schools.
It is pointed out that the agency's mission is to choose talented children and create conditions for education and development of their skills. It is indicated that in 2021 the agency plans to open 10 more presidential schools across the country. The israel ambassador said she was impressed with the project to establish presidential schools in Uzbekistan. She added that israel is interested in developing cooperation with the Agency for the Development of Presidential Schools, Special Education Schools and specialists in studying gifted children, including through the Israeli Agency for International Cooperation.
The Israeli side also suggested to create cooperation and exchange between the youth of the two countries, thanks to which young people from Uzbekistan and Israel will be able to work together on joint projects.
Alongside this, the sides discussed the formation of partnerships with research and development centers in Israel, the exchange of experience in organizing extracurricular lessons for students, the opening of various courses to improve the skills of experts in the field and teachers from Uzbekistan and other areas of working together to improve the quality of education.
