Uzbekistan starts registration process of Russian Sputnik V vaccine

The Republican special commission of Uzbekistan has analysed the results of phase III clinical trials of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. On February 11 it made a decision to launch the registration process.

According to the deputy head of the sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health service, Botyr Kurbanov, the certification of the vaccine will be held in an accelerated mode. The process may take 15-20 days.
