Uzbek MPs propose to celebrate July 30 as Peoples 'Friendship Day"

Uzbek MPs at a regular meeting held on Wednesday considered the draft "On the establishment of the Peoples 'Friendship Day".

The bill proposes to mark July 30 as "Peoples' Friendship Day".

This holiday, according to MPs, would contribute to strengthening and further developing solidarity, tolerance, interethnic harmony and friendship between peoples, nations, states - different layers and structures of society as a whole.
